Terms of Sale & Refund Policy

Thank you for supporting the Pointe-Claire Heritage Preservation Society (PCHS) through our online boutique. Every purchase directly funds our mission to preserve and promote our community’s unique story. Please read the following terms carefully before making a purchase.

General Terms of Sale

• Currency: All prices are listed in Canadian Dollars (CAD).
• Payment: We accept payments via Credit Card, Interac e-Transfer, and Cheque. For Interac and Cheque payments, orders will be processed only after the funds have been received and cleared.
• Taxes: Taxes are included in the listed price where applicable. As a registered charity, many of our items are exempt from sales tax.

Shipping Policy (Physical Goods)

• Processing Time: As a 100% volunteer-run organization, please allow up to 5-7 business days for us to process and ship your order.
• Shipping Method: Orders are typically shipped via Canada Post.
• Shipping Area: We currently ship to addresses within Canada. For international orders, please contact us directly at info@patrimoinepointeclaire.org before placing your order.

Refund & Return Policy

As a non-profit charitable organization, our primary goal is to fund our preservation work. Therefore, all sales are considered final. We do not offer refunds or exchanges for items unless they arrive damaged or the incorrect item was shipped.

• Damaged or Incorrect Items: If your order arrives damaged or you received the wrong item, please contact us within 14 days of receipt at info@patrimoinepointeclaire.org. You must include your order number and a photograph of the damaged or incorrect item. We will be happy to arrange for a replacement.
• Digital Products (Notarial Deeds, etc.): Due to their nature, all sales of digital and downloadable products are final and non-refundable. Please ensure you are purchasing the correct document before completing your transaction.
• Memberships: Membership payments are considered a form of support for the Society and are non-refundable.
• Donations: In accordance with Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) guidelines, charitable donations are non-refundable gifts.

Privacy

We are committed to protecting your privacy. Your personal information will only be used to process your order and, where applicable, to issue a charitable tax receipt. We will not sell or share your information with third parties.
